The SSDs are deployed for its superior, as compared to traditional mechanical drives, reliability and resilience to uncontrolled environments. Some SSD applications require extreme performance and some others minimum power consumption, which may come at the expense of performance. User data protection and/or elimination functions are becoming very important in some other applications. There is no one SSD that can meet all, often conflicting requirements. Memkor White Series SSDs are tailored towards traditional flash SSD applications such as boot drives, or industrial data logging. Built using industrial grade parts, they include features such Write Protect, ability to create multiple partitions and provide SMART support.
